Some Instructor Notes on Reflections:

1) Avoid vague language in academic writing, "Some people" "Something" "Anything". If you want to use "some" in this context, consider using a concrete noun after it, "Some opponents/researchers..."

2) Pay attention to "spoken language" comments and try to make that change for future drafts.

3) Avoid personal pronouns and lecturing the reader, "We should pay attention to ...." You can easily state, " X is needed in order to..."  It is important to ...." rather than say, "we should"

4) Avoid absolutes: always, any, never. Save those for discussing real facts.

5). Note the following: not any research=no research, not many studies=few studies.

6) Avoid the term "even" in some instances as it is too informal.

7) Contractions are rare in much of academic writing.

8) Look at the following correction and note suggestions:  In that case, I will have to use simple terms and not many less scientific details so that the readers will understand  what I want to say the content  no matter what regardless of their background or education level is.
